Hi there! I’m Jaci, a later-in career worker bee who is living the life of her dreams. I have always imagined myself teaching full time and spending as much time as I can find, playing in the mountains. And that is exactly what I am doing….finally…well, kinda…
It hasn’t always been this way, so now that I have gotten this far in life, I am grateful. Learning has always been central to my work and personal life. My love of the outdoors has added the colour I needed – for a sense of pop, uniqueness and yes, adventure.
In the mountains, I have healed my broken heart, strengthened my resolve, and found my courage. My favourite quote is by Sir Edmond Hilary who told us…”It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.“

I have over 25 years work experience in the energy sector, healthcare, tech industry, and the non-profit community. I also teach at the undergraduate post secondary and professional level programs throughout the year.
